Volunteers required to help out with the 1st Junior League day at Greenbank Sports Academy.

The 4 Nations Disability games will be taing place in Manchester 16th - 18th April. Volunteers are still required. Email Tom Webster for further details if you would like to help out.

Please support the many Badminton Events in 2010. In Liverpool we will hosting the UK Corporate games in May and a Badminton Bonanza in the Echo Arena. In Manchester we have the English Nationals in Feb and the European Championships in April. Birmingham will be hosting the Yonex All England in March.
Volunteers are required at all these events so please lend a hand.

Garston Sports Centre - No Strings Badminton Sessions Sunday 2-4pm. Now Open. All abilities Welcome. Beginners to League players - the courts are booked so come along.

All female players over 16 yrs are able to attend.
Free coaching, taster activities, social game play.

New novice social Badminton and Womens' Awards for All sessions start on Friday 29th August 08. 8-10pm. Wavertree Sports Park, Wellington Road Wavertree L15 4LE.

Become a line judge and volunteer for local and National tournaments. A course has been arranged in Liverpool on 20th September 2008.

European Championships launch event at Everton Park Sports Centre, Thursday 31st July 08.

Awards For All National Lottery funding has been awarded to the Liverpool & District Badminton League to Develop Womens' badminton in Liverpool. We will start collecting names of players who would like to take part in training sessions shortly.

New members are welcome between the ages of 9-16yrs.

All member clubs voted to change to the new rally points scoring system for league matches from season 2007/08.

A new scoring system taster day was organised by the league for all club members.
This took place on Sunday 2nd September at Holly Lodge. Two umpires were in attendance to help support the training and answer questions. Many thanks to all who attended and we hope they all found it beneficial.
