is open to any School, Club, Youth or Community group in Merseyside/ Lancashire
COMPETITION INFORMATION
Registered teams will be required to attend 2 competition days during the season,
1 before Christmas and 1 after. On these dates teams will play out their fixtures.
Competition venues will be set once the number of teams entering has been finalized.
All teams in a division will play each other during the season. Matches are composed of 4 singles and 2 doubles events. 1 game to 21 points, no setting. Change ends at 11pts.
Matches will be held at a multi-court venue on a Sunday morning or afternoon.
Teams will consist of 4 players, boys or girls in Year 8, Year 10 or Year 12 and below on the 1st September 2010. Only players who are Bronze level and below are eligable.
If you have more than one team entering an age group then you will need to specify which group of players will form the A & B teams.
Clubs can have between 4 & 6 players in each team, so long as they are registered to that team.
Feather shuttlescocks will be used in the Y10 & Y12 age groups whilst Yonex Mavis synthetic shuttlecocks may be used for Y8.
Teams will be grouped according to their ability into an appropriate division.
The top team(s) from each division will be promoted to a higher division at the end of the season. This will be reviewed based on team results and decided by the Junior League Committee.
A Sub-committee of The Liverpool and District Senior Badminton League will oversee the Liverpool Junior Badminton League.

Day 1 of 3 Venue: The Ultimate Sports Centre
Year 12 and below grouping, containing a team of boys or girls.
4 courts available for at least 3 hours.
4 Teams present, each team plays 3 matches.
Four courts will be available, 2 for each match.
Each match should take about 1 hour.
Teams may play different registered players in each match.
Players cannot be changed once a match has started.
Games will be one game to 21 points following the new rules.
Changing ends at 11pts.
Players will be arranged according to strength.
Players will need to arrive at the designated venue 15 mins before the start of play, ready to commence on time.
Match costings:
League Registration Fee £10 per team.
£12 per team for 3 matches. ie. £3 per player (based on a team of 4)
£16 per team for 4 matches. ie. £4 per player (based on a team of 4)
